Hi, I'm Shane!

I'm an artist. According to my mother, I've been drawing ever since I could hold a pencil. When I was young, my grandfather had a huge influence on me, and I found myself intrigued by watching him paint. As a shy young boy, I sat for hours drawing while all of my brothers and sisters ran around the house playing and often times fighting like siblings do. To me, the process of drawing can be more rewarding than the actual art itself. 

I wasn’t born with this talent like many say. I just had more of an interest in it than other kids my age. It took practice. A lot of practice. And the more I practiced, the better I became. By the time school started, I was more advanced than most of the other kids.

Over the years, I've created artwork that has been broadcast on multiple TV networks, published in magazines and children’s books, and even featured in some popular mobile apps. But nothing has been more rewarding than helping beginner artists develop their drawing skills. 

It wasn't until December of 2020 that I used my spare time to start my TikTok channel, following my daughter’s recommendation. Much to my amazement, it exploded almost overnight. That was the moment I discovered my true calling.

In this course, I teach you everything I've discovered and learned on my own in the artistic field and beyond, in the most engaging and fun way possible. It's crucial to remember that, above all else, drawing should be fun!

You'll gain the knowledge to choose the right materials and techniques for each type of drawing. You'll be surprised by how much you can do with just a few tools, as long as they're the correct ones.

You'll be able to understand the basic elements of drawing, like lines, shapes, textures, shading and much more. You'll also learn to use different types of perspective and composition rules that'll make your work look extremely realistic. 

You'll be able to draw people, still lives, and landscapes. You'll also develop the skill to draw using reference photos. The course is full of exercises where I draw in real-time so you can follow along and practice all the concepts you've learned in the lessons.

The course is suitable for anyone: adults, children, people who draw often or who've never practiced. Basically, no artistic skills are required to enroll, other than the desire to explore the world of drawing with curiosity and passion.

The course is structured to start from the absolute basics and guide you through all the techniques that'll allow you to practice effectively. You'll work your way up to creating more complex drawings that, until recently, might have seemed unimaginable to you.

The course is divided into several sections, containing 11+ hours of video lessons and exercises. I recommend that you watch the videos in order, as the course has a sequential and logical learning path.
